The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. Psalms 113:4 KJV
Psalms 113 is a hymn that is encouraging believers to praise the Lord.
Praise Him because He cares enough for us to look down, reach down, and raise us up when we are in need.
He is there as a comfort for the poor and barren.
Nations may try to rise to great power, but the Lord is high above all nations.
He has more power.
All nations were made by Him.
They are under His control.
The Lord is the brightness of God’s glory and made higher than the heavens.
He is to be exalted above all blessings and praise.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You are high above all nations. That Your glory is above the heavens. You are the Ruler of the earth and Heaven. Forever generous and wise. All our lives are in Your hand. We give You all the glory and all the praise.
