Just A Little Talk

Read: Colossians 4:1-3 / Ephesians 6:10-20

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2 KJV

We have heard the story of David in the lion’s din.

The story of Job with his many afflictions.

How they kept the faith and prayed despite of everything they were going through.

We all have had a time when the storms of life are like a raging sea.

Just like many in the Bible, we are to bring our concerns to God in prayer.

The best way to calm our fears and renew our courage.

Nothing that we do in our prayer life will be done properly unless we do it with a feeling of enthusiasm.

Watching with a spirit of thanksgiving.

Prayer does more to quiet the spirit and strengthen the soul than anything else we can try.

Prayer is the weapon that gives us spiritual victory.

It unlocks and open doors that have been closed for too long.

Prayer is what we need to resist temptation and remain steadfast in the Word.

The best weapon we have when Satan tries to attack us.

That is why Paul has told us in Ephesian 6, after naming all the parts of the Christian armor, that we should always pray.

No matter our situation we can always ask the Lord for His help.

He is our protection in every battle that we face.

We should never underestimate the value and power of prayer.

The Lord hears our faintest cry and always answers us.

When we believe, we shall receive, because prayer changes things.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we know there are many things that try to act against us and keep us in a state of suffering. No matter our status in life, we can find ourselves in this position. These are the times we must persevere in prayer, and Christian Wisdom. Knowing that prayer gives us the strength we need to make it through. Thank You Savior.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
