Read: Psalms 119: 129-136
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalms 119:130 KJV
In our journey through life we all will receive some form of authoritative instruction or direction.
It is a command that tells us exactly what it is that we are required to do.
What we are requested to do is easy when the person making the request presents them in a pleasant way.
When they guide us on what it will take to succeed in accomplishing the goal.
That is how it is when we give our lives to Christ.
When we decide that we are going to follow His commands.
His words give light and understanding (Psalms 118:130 KJV).
The more we put our trust in Him, the more we desire to follow His lead.
It is like this song that has been sung by many choirs.
We should be saying to the Lord:
“Order my steps in your word dear Lord. Lead me, guide me every day. Send your anointing, Father I pray. Order my steps in Your Word.
Humbly asking Him to teach us His will.
And that while He is working on us that we be still and listen to what He is telling us.
Always recognizing the fact that Satan is always trying to get us to go the wrong way.
A reason we must be mindful of what we say.
Our words are to always be acceptable to the Father.
Never forgetting that the Word is always available to shine the light of understanding on things.
That prayer is the best form of communication we have with the Father.
And the Holy Spirit is always there to help, lead and guide us.
So while we yet live, let us remember to keep our faith centered on the Word.
Remembering that the Lord is always with us.
That He will never leave or forsake us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know we have a call on our lives. A call in which the more we listen to You a light shine on us, and we get an even greater understanding of it all. We desire that You continue to order steps. To continue to lead and guide us. Your anointing is the best thing that could happen in our lives. Thank You for the wisdom and knowledge You bestow on each of us.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
