Wonderful Need to Know – Why Being Delivered is Uplifting

Read: Romans 7:3-9

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:6 KJV

To be united, those involved become as one.

They are joined together for a common purpose.

They realize the need to change their way of thinking.

To really see that they are trying to reach the same goal.

The same applies to our Christian walk.

The Lord desires that we unite with Him.

The common goal is that all will come to know Him and live according to the Word.

For the believer that means staying grounded in the Word, no matter the situation.

For those that had previously given their lives to Him, but lost their way, now is the time to return.

Our coming together as one also gives us the opportunity to show others who have not given their lives to Him how wonderful this unity really is.

How with this union, anything we are going through, and any act of sin we are having trouble breaking, we have the Lord and each other to talk too.

The Lord is our Deliverer.

It is only by the Spirit of Life in Him that we can be made free from the law of sin and death.
All the old things that were hindering us will pass away.

We will have a newness of life, which gives us the ability to live according to the Word.

With it we find peace in the times of conflict.

Love amid hatred.

Forgiveness when we have been harmed.

With unity we are delivered from the law of sin of which we were held and given a
new spirit to serve Him (Romans 7:6 KJV).

Unity is all about harmony, love, mutual respect, and peace.

Everything the Lord desires for our lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we know it is Your desire that we all be free from sin. The only way it will happen is when decide to accept Your invitation. An invitation of unity and love. One that brings peace and harmony to our lives. Thank You for giving us the opportunity to be one with You. For the Holy Spirit. For the sanctifying influence on our lives. May others come to know what unity really means.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
