The feeling of being in charge is not something uncommon for any of us.
We all have our moments when we want to be in control of something.
A nervous feeling comes upon us when we begin to think that our lives are not in our hands.
Feelings like these can cause us more problems than good.
Leading us down the paths of unrighteousness.
Those are the times when we remember we are followers of Christ.
That when we are making plans and trying to live responsibly it should be our goal to yield to His control.
To place everything in His hands.
We can do it without fear.
We just must constantly remind ourselves that the Lord is never reckless in His ways of leading us.
When we feel like things are out of control, those are the times we must relax in Him and believe the He is handling anything that comes into our lives.
That He is in control (Proverbs 16:9 KJV).
From the beginning of time, it has been God’s will, not anything we have done, that has kept us alive and safe.
In His hands is the best place any of us should desire to be.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we don’t know what each day will bring. Tomorrow is unknown. What we do know is that we have a Lord who never changes. There to direct our steps by His Spirit and grace. Thank You that our lives are safe in His hands. The best place for any of us to be.
