The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
Psalms 113:4 KJV
As the Scripture for today declares, “The Lord is high above all nations” (Psalms 113:4 KJV).
Not just some, but all.
There are many nations that are still trying to tear down the walls of restrictions that keep them from praising the Lord.
Through prayers and evangelism some restrictions against proclaiming the gospel have been lifted.
In many countries churches have been allowed to open their doors.
Missionaries and Evangelists are allowed to visit and teach of the goodness of the Lord.
Many are bringing the Word to those who need it most.
Local churches are finding more ways to fellowship with those in their city and state.
The more we do, we all know that there will continue to be a spiritual warfare with Satan against Christ.
The devil is waging war against those who desire to learn more about the Lord.
Against those who desire to serve the Lord.
But with any spiritual warfare we must remember who is ultimately in control.
The One is totally in control of the affairs of men and nations.
That is our Almighty God.
The One who sent His Son to die for the sins of the world.
That is why the words in today’s Scripture are more important than ever.
It is reminding us of Who is really in control, no matter what the world says.
There will always be some nations and some individuals, that rise to high places of power and laugh in the Lord’s face.
Thinking they are greater.
But we know that the Lord is higher than any nation.
That He is more powerful than any ruler.
That along with Him being “high above all nations”, “His glory [is] above the heavens” (Psalms 113:4 KJV).
Everything belongs to Him.
The more we read the Scriptures, the more we desire to spread the Word.
We continue to pray that there is someone who will listen.
That they will see how God is trying to reveal Himself to them.
No matter what anyone says, there will be a time when all nations shall come together.
All will worship before Him.
He is more than worthy of being praised.
The Lord’s name is to be praised everywhere we go.
As His servants, we truly know Him and have received his favor.
Because of faith, it should be easy for us to spread the Word.
To testify to our experiences and speak well of the Master.
Be the one that helps to spread the Word of who He is.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we pray that every land which has yet to receive Your Word may hear it and become fruitful. Producing many who come to know the Lord as the One that is high above all nations. Knowing one day we will all join together in praising the Lord and thanking Him for His kindness and mercy towards us all. Thank You for it all.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
