O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Isaiah 25:1 KJV
It is not uncommon for any of us to have moments of depression or sadness.
Feelings that cause us to lose interest or find pleasure in the things we felt were rewarding and enjoyable.
Things that can cause us to lose our appetite and disturb our being able to rest properly.
They negatively affects the way we feel, think and act.
Those are the times our faith must remain strong.
Our faith is in the Lord.
God’s people gave praises as they waited for Him to complete the plans, He had for them (v.1).
Plans to deliver them from their enemies (v.2).
Wipe away their tears from their faces, remove their disgrace and swallowed up death in victory (v.8).
God gave strength to the poor and needy. He was “a refuge from the storm” (v.4).
The comfort He gave reassured them that He was there with them.
He is there for us too.
We must keep the faith that everything will be alright.
Giving Him praise for all He has done in our lives.
The Lord will not only fulfill His promises in His time, but He will be with us to the very end.
He is faithful.
He has a plan for each of our lives.
Hope and trust abound with faith.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, feelings of depression, sadness and unbelief have no place in our lives. We are standing on Your promises of deliverance, comfort, strength, and shelter. We sing praises to Your name. Weeping may endure for the night, but we know joy will come. Thank You for the gift of hope and faith.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
