We Are Grateful

Read: Psalms118:1-14, 26-29

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 118:1 KJV

There will be days that are filled with joy and something occurs that changes it all.

Those are the times we have to pray and trust the Lord for grace and mercy.

Help to make it through our difficult times.

Even when the psalmist was going through such times, he gave praises of thanksgiving unto the Lord.

His gratitude towards the Lord shows he knew that our Lord “is good” and “his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 118:1).

The Lord is our help and strength in the times of trouble (Hebrews 13:5-6).

All that we go through, He is lovingly using them to build our character.

As believers, we learn to be patient, we learn from our experiences, making it possible to walk boldly in the hope He lovingly gives us (Romans 5:3-5).

When life hits us with hard times, our hearts should be engaged in the sacrifice of prayer and praise.

Remembering the comfort, the Lord will give us.

The everlasting goodness and mercy of God.

Looking forward to all the blessings to come.

Everything we need to make it through.

We will be just like the psalmist, singing the praise, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 118:1).

Our reason for joy and praise.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, when we pray, we know You will answer. You are always there for us. Because You are there for us, we learn that we should not fear about what man can do to us or what life brings our way. That our situations will change for the positive. That we gain knowledge in everything we go through. We will tell others about how we serve and have put our trust in You. Encouraging them to do the same. May we continue to have a grateful heart for all You have done.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
