Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:11 KJV
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love.
Something He desires each of us to show to one another (1 John 4:11).
From the beginning, God created us in His own image (Genesis 1:27)
That even when man turned away from Him and sinned, He still loved us.
The Scriptures tell us, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
The Father did all this to show us the love He has for us.
By our faith in Jesus, we are loved even more by God in the same way that the Father loves His Son.
It is an everlasting love.
One that has always been and always will be there for us.
A faithful love that is there for us no matter how much we stray and do things the wrong way.
To show us the way to receive the salvation He desired for each of us.
A love that would allow us to spend eternity with Him.
We are all precious to Him and He wants nothing more than for us to tell others about His love by showing each other love just like He has shown it to us (1 John 4:11).
The Father has given us a Spirit of love, let us never forget to share it with someone else.
That He has told us, “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12).
We are precious to Him.
Take the time to show someone else the same love He has shown.
Telling everyone that “we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world” (v.14).
That His love is everlasting.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, none of our words or thoughts could ever do any justice to the love You show to us. We all have sinned and yet You still show us love. You could have given up on us. Letting us take the punishments due. Thank You for all the love You have shown us. We intend to share this love with others. Telling them all about the love You desire to give each of us. Praying and hoping that our words and actions will draw them closer to You and spread the Word of Your love to others too.
