Daily Praise

Read: Luke 1:46-55

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Luke 1:46-47 KJV

There are times when we sit back and make a list of all the things we want to accomplish.

But how often do we sit back and give thanks for all the things we have completed?

The many blessings that God bestowed on us.

We should have a daily praise.

We couldn’t have accomplished them without His help.

We may not write them all down, but we can be like Mary and verbally express our gratitude to the Father.

She knew herself to be a sinner who needed a Savior.

She rejoiced in her salvation (v.47).

She recognized and acknowledged that God’s mercy was extended to the Israelites for generations (v.50).

Praising Him for all the powerful acts He performed on their behalf (v.51).

For all the daily provisions she received from His hands (v.53).

Mary is a great example that shows us that when we think about the great things that God has done for us and express them, it is a way to express our praise and rejoice.

We know we are in the season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a New Year.

But let us take the time and often consider God’s goodness each day of the year.

Thanking Him for the things He has done.

His birth, death and resurrection that set us free from sin.

The chance at a new year to get our lives in order.

Giving Him praise and rejoicing in all that He has done.

When we do, our words of praise will create a picture of goodness and be one that we can share with others.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we give honor and praise to You for all the great things You have done in our lives. We will share stories of Your goodness. Praising and rejoicing in the mercy and care You continue to show us. Thank You!

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
