Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.

It is always in our best interest to make sure where our source of information is coming from.
We can find ourselves working with the wrong information and end up with results that are not pleasing.
There will be some who try to help us with what they feel is right, but it may not be what is right for you.
They weren’t trying to do any harm. They just thought they had the right information.
Our best source of instructions and knowledge comes from God.
Proverbs 23:12 encourages us to “apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.”
He will speak to our hearts, but we must have a heart that is willing to receive what He is telling us.
All our wisdom comes from God.
Like with any child, He is a Father who wants nothing but the best for us.
To be well educated in the facts of life.
That is why He is always trying to get us to listen to what He is saying.
To be careful not to listen to any and everybody.
Putting the right people in our lives.
We all know there are some that only pretend to know more than they really do and have not a true relationship with God.
That if we seek wisdom from those who are foolish, we can find ourselves on a path of destruction (v.9).
God’s wisdom is the greatest source to rely on in any situation that we face.
Knowing that everything He tells us is spoken to set us free from the bondage of sin and keep us on the path of righteousness.
He speaks to us clearly.
In a way that is easy to understand, see and hear.
Instructions that when we listen with all our heart, we find the hope and knowledge He desires us to have.
God’s Divine wisdom will never lead us astray.
He is always opening new horizons for us.
All we must do is keep our hearts and minds focused on the Scriptures and listen to what the Father is telling us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we accept and appreciate all the instructions You give us. We truly hear all that You are teaching us. They always come with love and for our good. We pray that we increase in Knowledge. That we no longer let foolish ways take over our lives and lead us down roads that cause us to go against the Word. We bring our hearts to You. We are ready to listen and receive all that you have for us. You are the Master of it all. We are grateful for the love you show us. Thank You for everything You bless us with.
