From Worry To Prayer – Greatest Guard For Your Heart

Today’s Reading: Philippians 4:2-9

Today’s Verse: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6 KJV

We face challenges on a daily basis. There are things we want to achieve.

Some that will cause us to feel worried. There is an uneasy feeling about what might happen.

There are times when we are eager. We very much want something to happen or wish to do something.

If we are not careful, it can cause us more harm than good.

That is why the Father has told us, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6 KJV)

We must not let fear or worry control our minds.

God is in control. He has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. He has established our steps. (Proverbs 16:9 KJV, Proverbs 19:21 KJV).

He will always offer us comfort and peace. Isaiah 41:10 KJV offers reassurance against fear. The promise of God’s strength and presence.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28 KJV).

Christ holds all things together (Colossians 1:17 KJV). He has Supreme Authority to do as He pleases (Psalms 115:3 KJV).

That is why we can talk to Him honestly. We can always ask Him, with a humble heart, for the help that we need.

Thanking Him for His goodness, even while we wait for an answer.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7 KJV).

With all your heart tell God what you need. Do not keep the stress inside.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we give our worries to You today. We do not want to be afraid. We do not want anything to weigh us down and keep us from doing Your will. Help us to trust You with what we need. Your peace that passes all understanding is what we need. We know it will keep our hearts and minds in a positive state. Thank You for hearing us. For loving us. For helping us. Thank You for filling our hearts with Your peace.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
