Our actions and how we speak say much about who we are.
We never know who is watching us.
They notice how we handle things.
What our goals are in life.
If we are headed in the right direction.
Things that can have an impact on another person.
It plays a part in them making the right decision to do something positive in their lives.
Paul put it this way, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness” (Titus 2:7 NIV).
Every good teacher wants their students to learn what is right.
To be a positive feature in their lives.
Giving them the knowledge, they need to succeed.
We are that example.
We may not quote Scriptures in everything we say but we have it as a guide.
They tell us how to express what the Father desires for our lives in a manner others will understand and receive.
When we act in ways of kindness, thoughtfulness, and forgiveness, we give glory to God.
Our positive actions towards others show that we live differently because the Holy Spirit is working in our lives.
Showing others that we all can be given the grace we need to reject ungodliness and wrong patterns. That by the grace of God we are given salvation (vv. 11-12).
There is so much to be learned.
We all should have a desire to live in a way that will make others want to know the Savior.
The greatest teacher because He knows what is best for our lives.
What we learn will bring joy and many blessings to our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, there is always something to be learned. We learn by listening but seeing it in action is so much better. You teach us daily how we should live. There are many You have given the ability to teach by how they speak and live. Their lives show that they have been taught by You. Teaching others what they have learned. May our behavior be one that causes others to see You in us. That they see us as an example of someone who is doing what is good. Desiring to do good themselves. Let us continue to follow Your teachings and teach others.
