Just like a puzzle, every piece is needed to complete it.
The same holds true when it comes to spreading the Word.
It is hard to complete what the Lord desires us to do, when we continue to try to put the pieces in spots they don’t belong in.
Everyone of us has a place in life.
No position is the same, no matter the title.
We all have different skills and abilities.
God made us that way for a reason.
We may not be called to be a pastor, teacher, missionary, or board member , but the one who stays in the background.
The one who does all sorts of things to help keep the church functioning.
In today’s Scripture, Paul was commending many people who worked hard in their congregations.
He was acknowledging them because he knew that our jobs as servants of the Lord was to please Him in every way.
That no service that we do for the Lord is unimportant.
For those that feel they have nothing to contribute.
Think again and be encouraged.
Whether we are serving in the church, we are still serving the Lord in our everyday lives.
Whatever you are contributing is a blessing.
Remembering we are all playing a part in spreading the Word.
Let us not forget to take the time to commend each other.
Our service for Christ is never insignificant.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, let us never forget that there is a part for each of us to play when it comes to spreading Your Word. Giving each other praise for any contribution they have made to making It possible. Just like a puzzle, each one of us is needed to complete the mission at hand. Thank You for choosing us to be a part of it. We are striving to please You in every way.
