Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36 KJV
Sometimes we learn about something that someone else needs to hear.
We have tried it and feel it is something that would be beneficial to their lives.
Because we have seen how they react to some things we hesitate to tell them.
A fear of how we should present it to them sets in.
How they will receive it becomes a great concern.
Then something happens and nothing can stop us from telling them about it.
All because we know it is something that will help them for days to come.
A good example of this happened with the disciples.
“The doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews” (John 20:19), who had killed their Master.
No guesswork is needed to understand why the disciples of Jesus hid.
They wanted to tell others about their experiences when they were with Jesus but scared because of what they had witnessed.
The Savior had been crucified by these men and they didn’t know which way to go from there.
But when Jesus rose from the grave, “and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you” (John 20:19), the Holy Spirit stepped in.
Giving them the courage, they needed to know longer fear the Jews.
When this happened, there was no way to keep them quiet.
They were ready to spread the Word and tell of His resurrection.
Just like Simon Peter, on the day of Pentecost, was so Spirit-filled that he declared, “Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36).
We all can speak boldly and declare the same message in Jesus’ name.
It is not limited to the pulpit.
It’s not limited to those who have made it their career to do the work of the ministry.
Jesus is the Lord, and the anointed Savior of us all.
All of us, who has received Christ as our Savior, can tell the good news to anyone who is listening.
He has given us the strength and knowledge to do it.
There is no need to fear.
The Lord is with us on this journey to spread the Word.
We must be the ones to trust and believe in Him.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we won’t stop spreading the good news to those who will listen about who You are. All because of Your death and resurrection we can bear witness to the miracles and Divine influences You have on our lives. Thank You for giving us the strength and boldness to not fear living according to the Word. Thank You for paving the way for us to have a blessed life forevermore. There is no way we could make it without You Lord.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
