Rejoice and Be Joyful

Read: Habakkuk 3”17-19

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18 KJV

Things of a negative nature will always cause us to look at things in a bad way.

The feeling of defeat and anger that affects many of us.

Causing us to feel like we are not capable of reaching our goals or doing anything right.

Those are the times we must remember we can truly talk to God.

Habakkuk, the Prophet, was in prayer.

He saw a day of trouble approaching for God’s people.

That some long hard years were coming.

Times when there would be no fruit, no meat, and no other comforts (v.17).

How despite all that was happening, he would still “rejoice in the LORD” and would find “joy in the God of [his] salvation” (v.18).

It is a blessing to know that we can talk to God during our times of trouble.

It reminds us that God is always there for us.

That He will answer us and be there to support us.

Habakkuk’s prayer offers hope.

Showing that no matter the situation, our prayers and rejoicing let’s others know that we have faith that God would one day remove the evils, the pains, the doubts, and the fears that we are battling.

He is a great example we all can follow.

It is great to pray and let others know that in any situation we can go to God and give Him praise for what He has done and is doing in our lives.

God has done so much for us.

He has made us strong for spiritual warfare and work.

Our heats continue to grow in the way of His commandments.

He is always showing us how to handle our troubles.

A strong tower to lean on.

We should be determined to delight and be triumphant in the Lord. For us not only being recovered but filled with joy.

Rejoice and be joyful.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know there will be times when our circumstances can be painful and hard. We struggle to figure out which way to go. Help us to remember to stay focused on You. Knowing You are always there to guide us and bring us to a happy ending. You are the reason for all our joy in the midst of it all. Always there to lift us up. Thank You Savior.
